Planning for Michelada Fest

  • Festival Dates: May 2-3, 2026

    Festival Hours: Doors open at 2 PM. Last act ends at 11:30 PM.

    Location: Ascarate Park, 6900 Delta Dr., El Paso, TX 79905

    Michelada Fest is all ages. Kids 13 and under get in free with a ticketed adult.

  • Parking: Ascarate Park has $10 parking. However, we strongly recommend ride-sharing (Uber, Lyft) or carpooling.

    Public Transit: Sun Metro routes drop you close to the venue. Check your local schedule.

  • Ascarate Park has parking available for $10.

  • Your virtual ticket was emailed on Monday, April 27. Download it to your phone wallet.

    • For Apple users, it will go to your Apple Wallet.

    • For Android users, you may need to download the Google Wallet app.

  • Your wristband will be given at the entrance after your virtual ticket is scanned.

    • ALL bags will be searched before entry.

    • Only the following bags will be allowed into the Michelada Fest festival site:

      • Clear bags that are 12” x 12” x 6” or smaller. They must be made of clear plastic, clear vinyl, or clear PVC.

      • Small clutch purses and fanny packs that are 6″ x 9″ or smaller, with no more than one pocket. These do not need to be clear.

    • Sunscreen in non-aerosol containers (4oz or less)

    • Baby strollers

    Medicine:

    • Factory-sealed Naloxone/Narcan kit.

    • Prescription medicine:

      • Anyone needing prescription medicine at the festival must present the pharmacy-labeled container which states the prescription, dosage, and patient name to our medical staff. Patrons are only allowed a sufficient supply of the prescribed medication for that day.

    • Medicines needing to be inhaled or smoked are prohibited unless in a prescribed inhaler.

    • Over-the-counter medications are allowed in a sufficient supply for the day. Bottle contents will be verified by security at the entry gates.

    • Bags larger than 12” x 12” x 6”

    • Bags between 6” x 9” x 4” and 12” x 12” x 6” that are not clear

    • Illegal and illicit substances of any kind

    • Pets (except service animals)

    • Outside food and beverages of any kind

    • Coolers of any kind

    • Glass containers of any kind

    • Aerosol containers, including sunscreen and personal beauty products

    • Large chains or spiked jewelry

    • Professional recording (photo, video, audio) equipment:

      • NO detachable zoom lenses, stands, monopods, tripods, attachment sticks (selfie sticks), or other camera accessories or commercial equipment

      • Drones or any other remote flying device

    • Glow sticks, glowing/illuminated costumes, gloves or jewelry

    • Laser pointers, air horns

    • Markers, pens or spray paint

    • Skateboards, scooters, bicycles, wagons, carts, or any personal motorized vehicles 

    • Tents, canopies, or shade structures of any kind

    • Hammocks of any kind

    • Umbrellas of any kind

    • Chairs of any kind

    • Lawn chairs of any kind

    • Totems of any kind

    • Unauthorized/unlicensed vendors are not allowed. No unauthorized solicitation and materials including handbills, flyers, stickers, beach balls, giveaways, samples, etc.

    • Smoking is not allowed. Cigarettes, lighters, vapes, and vape juice are prohibited inside the festival.

    • Weapons or explosives of any kind, including fireworks, pocket knives, pepper spray, etcetera

    • Bolsitas de mano (clutch) y cangureras (fanny packs) que midan 6” x 9” o menos, con un solo compartimento. No necesitan ser transparentes.

    • Teléfonos celulares y cargadores portátiles/baterías externas.

    • Cámaras sencillas tipo “point-and-shoot” (no profesionales), sin accesorios ni lentes desmontables (como Sony Action Cam, GoPro, Polaroids).

    • Gel desinfectante personal (máximo 4 oz o 120 ml).

    • Bloqueador solar en envases no en aerosol (máximo 4 oz o 120 ml).

    • Carriola de bebé

    Medicamentos:

    • Kit de Naloxona/Narcan sellado de fábrica.

    • Medicamentos con receta médica:
      Cualquier persona que necesite tomar medicamentos con receta deberá presentar el envase original con etiqueta de farmacia, donde se indique el nombre del paciente, el medicamento, y la dosis. Solo se permite traer la cantidad necesaria para ese día.
      No se permiten medicamentos que deban inhalarse o fumarse, a menos que vengan en un inhalador recetado.

    • Medicamentos de venta libre están permitidos en cantidades suficientes para el día. El contenido del frasco será verificado por seguridad al ingresar.

    • Bolsos que excedan las medidas de 12” x 12” x 6”

    • Bolsos entre 6” x 9” x 4” y 12” x 12” x 6” que no sean transparentes

    • Sustancias ilegales o ilícitas de cualquier tipo

    • Palos de luz (glow sticks), disfraces o joyería iluminada

    • Punteros láser, bocinas de aire (air horns)

    • Marcadores, plumas o pintura en aerosol

    • Patinetas, scooters, bicicletas, carritos, o vehículos motorizados personales

    • Casas de campaña, toldos o estructuras para sombra

    • Hamacas de cualquier tipo

    • Sombrillas de cualquier tipo

    • Sillas o sillas de jardín de cualquier tipo

    • Tótems de cualquier tipo

    • Vendedores no autorizados/licenciados no están permitidos
      Tampoco se permite la distribución no autorizada de materiales como volantes, calcomanías, pelotas, regalos promocionales, muestras, etc.

    • Armas o explosivos de cualquier tipo, incluyendo fuegos artificiales, navajas, gas pimienta, etc.

    • No se permite fumar. Los cigarrillos, encendedores, vaporizadores y líquidos para vapear están prohibidos dentro del festival.

  • VIP tables do not include the festival entrance. Customers must have VIP wristbands to purchase a table in the bottle service area.
